zScapes Ramble On
London Walk Abouts

As luck would have it, we decided on Iceland as our 30th anniversary trip and Ealing Broadway was to be our jump off point. Not wanting to waste anytime, we went on several walks with Emma and Robert exploring new areas of this wonderful city. Join along!
Peace Mile Thames Walk
Our first walk was along the Thames between Chelsea and Albert Bridges. The Sir Chinmoy Peace Mile, named in 1986 for the Director of Meditations at the United Nations and avid runner, the course measures one mile along The Thames and surrounding park. A fitting name!
WWT London Wetland Centre
Next on our walking adventure, the London Wildlife Centre. Pretty amazing place in the heart of the big city. The Centre is a wetland reserve managed by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust in the Barnes area of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, southwest London, England, by Barn Elms. At 29.9 hectares, you can get lost with all the birds and wildlife that populate this corner of the city.
Canal Walk ~ Grand Union Canal to Little Britain to Uxbridge
Today we entrusted my Cousin Rob to show us a part of London that we had not visited just a short ride down the Elizabeth line, starting in West Drayton. Even though it was late October, the skies were clear, the temperature mild and Rob was making us keep pace! An enjoyable day with some boggy stretches, but a good time was had. We finished off the night at a new Polish restaurant in Ealing Broadway, Polka Kitchen and the Pierogis were a treat. Unfortunately, our trip was at an end as the next day it was back to California.
Another fun trip to my birthplace and looking forward to the next visit already. Cheers
May our paths & errands meet
