London 2025 Out & About
Another year and another visit to England. We used this trip to hop over to France for a Beaujolais walking trip, sandwiching in time with relatives, theater (The Comedy About Spies, The Fifth Step, Mrs Warren Profession) and the obligatory walks around town. Including a fabulous new London Walk and Elthorne Park along the River Brent.
London Wetland Centre Redux
Betsey was a bit under the weather last year when I visited the Wetland Center with my cousin Emma, so a return trip was in order. Fascinating place in the middle of a major world city center with both captive and wild birds of Africa, Asia & Europe.

London Walk Seven Deadly Sins
It has been awhile since we took a London Walks as over the years we had done our fair share and did not see anything new. To our surprise, they have revamped the lineup and added new adventures. We settled on The Seven Deadly Sins – the Capital Vices and was not disappointed. Our guide, Ulrike was quite knowledgeable with many keen insights and kept us captivated as we walked thru London vices and the fine citizens behind them, with a final reveal of who wore them all! Definitely recommend.

Elthrone Park and Waterside
No trip to London escapes a walk along the vast myriad of trails in and around the city. The canals, open spaces, parks and trails are amazing and our relatives are always keen to show something new. Elthorne Park and Waterside is close to Ealing Broadway and we were treated to see a canal boat navigate a lock crossing. How British!
